Introduction
The identity of this building will not be named by agreement between the Manager and MPI.
Founded in 1716 by the Most Honorable and Loyal Society of Ancient Britons in order to provide an education for the children of Welsh parentage in London. In 1857 it moved to its present site. The junior and senior schools are on the same site of 30 acres, with a lake, on the outskirts of the nearby town. The main building is very handsome, built of stone in the collegiate style of architecture and stands in beautiful gardens. There is also a fine chapel and additional modern building which are well-appointed and well-equipped. The nearby railway station built in 1848 and was re-built for the visit of Prince Albert who opened the new school in 1857.

Team 1
Vigil 1 2nd Floor Dormitories.
In the first bedroom EMF reading 0 temperature 13/14 degrees, we sat on the beds and Val called to spirit, Louise has a sudden headache and has pain across her throat, she describes it as a diagonal cut from her left ear going down and across. Then Becki has a headache.
In the second bedroom EMF reading 0 temperature 12/13 degrees, Emma calls to spirit and the EMF meter that was placed on a bed gave a slight reading and another when placed in the chair. Val and Emma feel very hot here.
Team move to the sofa area of the corridor. While all sitting down quietly we shared some sweets as Louise got her sweet she felt as though someone had thrown a sweet at her hitting her on her back. Louise thinks a handle on a door moved downward. Sarah noticed the floor vibrating; a light suddenly comes on down the corridor then went off. Becki has a stabbing pain in the right hand side of her body, the light comes on again.
We tried a séance with the Ouija and on calling out for spirit two thuds were heard from the far end of the corridor, followed by a bang. On asking spirit if they were listening to us the light came on. Becki has the name of Alice come to mind.

Vigil 2 1st Floor
Drama Studio, glass divination was held in this room, the EMF reading 0 temperature 2 degrees. Spirit came through and only a little made sense. Spirit seemed to want to be with Becki and said China is somewhere she will go and it will be good and spelt out the letters B O A N this had no meaning for any of us.
Board Room Val had the name of Anna Robinson come to mind, all feel there is a presence of a female outside the door who could not enter this room her age is around 17 years. We all felt uneasy in here and tried a glass divination séance but nothing positive came through.
We stood quietly on the landing overlooking the staircase and tried to communicate with spirit but all was very quiet.
Vigil 3 Ground Floor
Performance Hall and Gym, this is quite a large area and Val called out for spirit to come forward to communicate with us but there was no response. Noises are heard coming from the entrance doors into the gym. After a while we decided we would try table tipping Louise felt slight movement but again all was very quiet with no further activity. Val threw an object and asked spirit to return it again no response. The team split and sat on the benches opposite each other Louise and Emma sitting together. We all heard a clang sound. Becki whistled and a whistle was heard back, Becki calls to spirit then Val a noise and another whistle was heard. No further communication here, although we all felt very uneasy.
Canteen the only sound we heard in here came from the balcony.
Music Room no occurrences here.
While walking in the ground floor corridor Becki saw a dog, black in colour and it was walking toward her.
Art Room Val calls for spirit nothing is heard, then Val threw a pencil and asked for its return but it never came back. All hear a dripping type sound coming from the corner at the back of the room, there was no explanation for this. Becki heard a yap like a small dogs yap. Val feels like she should not close her eyes and feels apprehensive, all others are feeling comfortable.
Team 2
Vigil 1 Ground Floor
EMF Reading remained 0 throughout. The temperature ranged around 13 – 15.
Gym, Jim A asked the team how they felt in this area all stated OK. Jim asked all to stand still, and called out for any spirit to come and communicate no response.
Jim A felt he was being pushed and fell over, and Jim P said he felt he was being pulled towards to tiny store room but could not explain why. Jim A called out again, and had no response.
Canteen, Jim A called for spirit to come forward but there was no response all team members felt comfortable in here.
Music Room, Simon checked the EMF and had a reading near the window that could not be explained, then both Jim A and Simon heard what sounded like a voice coming from the changing rooms that were opposite the music room, we went to check, but having checked all the rooms we could find no one, or heard the voice again, Jim A did feel a little heavy on his chest.
Music Room 2 and Jim A feels very cold in here, and asked the team to form a circle. Jim A called out for spirit to join with them and both Jim P and Simon hears a noise, Simon said it sounded like a crackle.
Canteen, All of us felt OK in here, then Gary said he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head. Jim A and then Gary try to communicate to spirit and ask for them to come forward but again there was no communication.
Art Rooms, Room 1all team feel fine in here and Jim A and Gary take turns in calling out to spirit Jim A, Gary, and Jim P all hear a knock, but nothing more.
In room 2 the EMF here was high on the right side of the room, again near the window, no reason could be found. On entering the room Gary asked if the rest of us could smell anything, we all said no, Gary said he could smell Lavender.
Jim P heard something, and it sounded like a pencil rolling on the floor, we checked and there was one, but we could not prove that Jim P did not kick it, or knock it in some way.
Jim P, Jim A and Gary sees what seems to have been a light, first go past Jim P, and then several times along the back wall. Both Gary and Jim A call out but get no response.
Vigil 2 2nd Floor Dormitories.
Lounge, we all sat down here, and all felt OK. Jim P had the smell of cigars, and Jim A and Gary hear little knocks. Jim A calls out again for spirit that walks the area to come forward. Simon says he has a headache. Jim, Gary, and Jim P hear a creek near room 28 + 26. Jim A tells the team he has someone with him, who is telling him it was very strict when the boys were there, nothing more.
We then moved to room 16, Jim A, Simon, and Jim P all hear what sounded like a whistle, Jim A called out to spirit, with no response.
At the end of the hall way, Jim A was picking up on a man, thin, tall, long legs, could have been a caretaker, wearing a hat and said he reminded him of a scarecrow. He was a (in your face type) of person, angry, and always going round checking the doors. Jim felt this man was either pushed, or fell down the stairs. Jim A also said that he feels that this man has been seen by others, and he walks with a bit of a limp.
Gary asked this spirit man to do something, and Jim A kept asking him to prove he was there, but apart from Gary, and Jim P hearing what sounded like a footstep there were no other occurrences here.
Vigil 3 1st Floor
In the Board Room there were EMF readings coming from the cupboard, and could not be explained.
Three knocks were heard by all in the corner of the room, near the door. Jim A asked for Spirit to communicate by knocking once for yes, twice for no, two knocks were heard, followed by three more.
Jim A asked if there were more than one spirit there, knock, knock heard.
If you’re a male, please knock once, two knocks were heard followed by a third.
Knocks from around the room were heard by all.
Jim asked did you know the lady that fall over the balcony. One knock was heard then asked spirit was you here when she died? Nothing heard.
Knocks were heard from around the door,
Séance was then carried out by Gary, Jim P, and Jim A while Simon observed.
At first nothing happened, and then the glass seen by all moved towards Jim, this happened a few times, and a series of question and answers followed

Jim said he had, had enough of Wilfred, and told him to go. The glass then went to goodbye. Jim called out again to spirit, and the glass moved again, back to W, Jim asked if it was Wilfred again? YES.
Jim then said OK, enough and stopped the vigil.
Team 3
Vigil 1 1st Floor
Boardroom temperature 10.2 degrees EMF - 0 upon entering the room Anne could smell a scorching smell. Jacqi had a really uneasy feeling and felt really sick. Anne felt cold and really sick. A creaking noise came from the corner of the room. Jacqi called out to the spirits but no activity. Laura then called out. The group heard a ticking noise but when the room was checked the only clock in the room had stopped at 4.45. Jacqi's torch started to flicker. Jacqi felt a touch to her neck and felt freezing cold down her back as if a block of ice was pressing against it. A lot of noises were heard by the group from around the room. Pat felt a cold breeze go past her. Pat asked the spirit to move on and it did. Many felt a coldness on her hand and pat giggled loudly and said that something had just blown in her ear. Laura could hear coughing coming from outside. The group joined hands for further energy but apart from a few noises there was not much activity. Anne said she felt really sick upon leaving the room.
Sick Bay Office temperature – 2deg. EMF – 0 on entering this room everyone was exceptionally cold even though the radiator was on quite hot. Jacqi feels sad. Anne feels as if some-one is pushing her from behind She says she feels lightheaded, dizzy and feels like she is swaying. Many say that Anne is swaying and the group gets Anne to sit down. Anne says she feels really sick and feels strange. Laura asked for the bad energy to be taken away. Jacqi also asked for the same thing and Anne said she felt better. The whole group decided to move out the room to give Anne time to recover. 2nd visit to Boardroom Jacqi called out to spirits and asked for them to copy this whistle sound there was no response. Jacqi asked spirit to copy footstep sound but still no response. Then several people thought they saw movement by the lake through the window and on looking for a while longer saw nothing else. Jacqi saw a white/grey shape that came and went. Mary-Lou called out to touch some-one but no response. Mary-Lou then asked for the noises we could hear around the room to become louder but no response. She also asked the spirit to return to the chair behind her but still no response. Jacqi asked the spirit to move a bracelet that had been found and placed on the table but no response. Team decided to leave the room.
Vigil 2 Ground floor
Gym temperature 11.8c EMF 0
The Ouija board was placed in the centre of the gym. Jacqi calls out and asks the spirits to join the circle. She then asked for a spirit to spell their name. The team all feels really cold. A spirit comes through and we find out with difficulty that he is a polish prisoner of war, age 23 by the name of Derek. He had been placed in a camp very near the venue but could not give a name. He could not spell out his last name but gave the letters DWZ. The group decided to try table tipping to see if we could gain more information. The table started pulsating immediately. It then began to rock gently. The spirit confirmed that he was male and that the information given before was correct. We also found out that he had been murdered by his brother in the country over his wife. The spirit began to rock the table quite violently whilst talking about his murder. It was decided not to go on with this line of questioning. He said he could see us sitting at the table and that he liked the company. Jacqi felt a light freezing breeze on the right side of her face and Derek said he was standing behind her. He likes to talk to us as a group and not as individuals. He also started to move our chairs while we were sitting in them. He like peace and quiet but liked it when people used the gym. He also likes to play tricks on them. Something touches Jacqi's hair and makes her jump. Lana had a sharp pain in the back of her head and we asked the spirit if this was how he was murdered. He was hit on the back of the head and that was how he died. The group moved back to the Ouija board with the spirits permission and he moved the planchette to between Jacqi and Mandy when asked where he was standing in the room.
He said he would move to other rooms in the building to enable us to speak to him again. Seemed a lovely man and very friendly.
Vigil 3 2nd Floor Dormitories
Room 32 temperature 19.8c deg EMF
Mary-Lou found a plastic cup and we placed our finger on it. Derek came through immediately a shock to us as it was only plastic, and we asked him to try to move another object in the room. The cup went to a piece of paper that he was asked to move but could not. The cup continued to move even without any questions being asked. First it moved to Anne and Derek was asked if he liked Anne and the response was yes. Suddenly all activity stopped and did not return on prompting. Mary-Lou was poked in the back and jacqi felt freezing cold on her back again.
Room 3 temperature 12.2 deg EMF 0 when trying to enter a force was felt on the door stopping us from entering. We asked the spirits to bang or tap and noises was heard from inside. When we asked again nothing happened.
Room 27 temperature 17 deg EMF 0 we all feel a cold breeze in the room. We all felt the presence of Derek but there was not much in the way of activity.
Margaret Room temperature 12.6 deg EMF 0
Whilst investigating the small corridor that had a dead end a loud bang was heard from the end which made Jacqi and Mary-Lou jump and scream. Upon further investigation a piece of heavy wood was laying on the floor at the end this made every-one very nervous!!
We entered the room and found a small table for tipping. Pat calls out for a spirit to join us and we felt a slight tremble through the table. We found a small plastic top that was used as a glass. Anne calls out and surprisingly the top begins to move. We found out that we had with us a young boy of fewer than 10 years of age who has died by falling off a horse. His parents were not with him but he was quite happy being in the room with us. There was no further movement of the cup and it was decided that the little boy had gone.
Vigil 4 All members in The Chapel
We all formed a large circle in the front area of the Chapel to hold a group séance by holding hands and standing in a circle. Val called for spirit to come forward and communicate with us in any way they wished. Almost straight away Jim P was in trouble, he seemed to be in pain. Val asked Jim A to go to him and give him assistance as he was clearly distressed. Jim A who is a medium then took over; he was able to drive who he believed to be Wilfred carrying out his threat on Jim P.
Jim asked if Mandy was alright and she confirmed she was but Jim A was unsure. Anne then felt very cold, and began shaking; Jim again assisted her and stood behind her driving what or who was near her away. Jim rejoined the circle, and was shaking badly, but said he was in control, after a while of being in some pain, he was able to carry on with the séance.
Val thought she saw someone down in the doorway at the entrance to the Chapel and Gary went to have a closer look. He saw nothing, Jim said spirit had moved around and was making their way towards us up the side aisles of the chapel.
Jim asked Becky if she was alright as he could see someone behind her. Val again called for spirit but had no response and asked Jim A to close the séance with a closing prayer of protection, as he finished the prayer Becky jumped she was startled and said that she had just been pocked twice in the head.

I found this building to be a mysterious one, I felt I was being watched and followed. In the sports hall I was drawn to the far left corner and several times thought someone was there, I felt as though when walking around I had to stop and look behind me. In the Chapel again I thought there was someone standing at the entrance peering around one of the pillars. The main corridor I found un-nerving and the main entrance by the clock to. Although several sounds were heard throughout the investigation and I had the name of Anna Robinson come to mind nothing really positive came through to me.
Jim A
For me the, I felt disappointed with the night, due to being just us four guys, there was so much going on that we did not pick up on, and needed the energy of others to help, which was missing within my team. The Boardroom and the Chapel were of course good, and the building may well be worth another visit.
Mandy Firth
I really enjoyed the St David’s investigation; I found that it was a lot more active than last time we visited which again I did enjoy. I felt a lot of activity in all the areas that I visited, I participated in an Ouija board in the Gym, which was very active, and all the details are in the team’s main report.
On the main staircase I felt like I was going to be pushed over the banister so I couldn’t actually go near the edge of the stairs, also in the boardroom we heard bangs, knocks and footsteps.
On the top floor we heard a number of knocks and heard a piece of wood fall over, we also talked to a child that I felt had fallen of a horse, which was confirmed.
Overall I really enjoyed the investigation and I hope we have the pleasure to go back there sometime.

I really enjoyed the night at this location I didn’t experience any odd feelings personally but the whole team were hearing bangs and knocks that we could not explain. We got good communication through the Ouija board which I still find fascinating and even though it was absolutely freezing I had a good investigation night.

I really enjoyed last night. It was brilliant. As an all girl group we had lots of activity (from male spirits I might add).
I had a great night with quite a lot of activity. I felt sometimes sick, cold, and sad and had pressure on my back but I loved every minute of it. Also my guest Anne said she enjoyed it very much as well. Thanks Val for a well organized evening.

A fantastic night I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.
I was part of a well organized team who worked together on every vigil which resulted in excellent responses from the spirit world. I have to say, for me personally, it was the best investigation that I have taken part in. We had activity from almost every room we went in and we were all happy to contribute in one way or another to work together as a team.
To experience the contact we had with one particular spirit named Derek was absolutely amazing and confirms to me that there is so much more out there waiting to be discovered.....

The evening was good as usual, we tried out an all girl, all male teams, to which I didn't mind and for me personally it worked well.
In the gymnasium we did really well with contacting a spirit named Derek who was Polish, he gave us quiet a lot of information, and he also had a sense of humor, we asked him if he was going to follow us for the rest of the vigils to which he said "yes" we asked him at the end of the vigil if he would stand over by the stage so we could take his photograph and when the photos were checked there was an orb I had captured which I believe was Jacqi had as well.
Jim P
Nothing really seemed to happen until we went into the boardroom where we had an Ouija board séance and on this contacted a man named Wilfred who died on the 11th Jan 1828 when he was pushed down the stairs. He warned me, Jim and Mandy that we were in danger in the chapel as the people that pushed him were named Mandy and Jim. In the chapel we held a group séance, forming a circle and holding hands. I became very shivery and had pains in my stomach and stabbing ones in my back. My head ached and I felt sick. When Jim A came over I began to feel calmer. Mandy and Jim A also received pains. A very interesting night.

On the night we had an all male team. It was an experiment that I think went well. Whilst in one room on the ground floor Jim and I heard a lady scream, which turned out to be a cat (on listening to the dictator phone play back) The EMF readings from the same room was all over the place and didn't make any sense as it was all mostly brick work. I didn't sense or see anything else throughout the investigation. On the first floor by the borders lodge whilst doing the write-up I got a headache and at the time Jim had picked up on a gamekeeper named Cappy. Nothing else was felt or sensed here. My dictator phone picked up a dog barking which other members have reported seeing a ghostly dog. It also picked up a strange voice at the very beginning of the night. The whole night in my opinion was well worth an investigation and I would be very interested in going again.
Becky
I was at first a little apprehensive due to having none of the guys in the team but I actually felt it went really well in the end and would be happy to work in an all girl team again. Was also great to work with Val and Louise as I haven’t been in their group before, thanks to the team I was in I really enjoyed the evening.
As for my experiences during the night as far as investigations go this was one of the quieter ones, there were a few strange sounds and some action on the Ouija but nothing particularly notable.
I felt at ease most of the evening although I still didn’t really like the Drama Room and there was something making me feel uncomfortable in the Gym.
I was convinced I saw a dog in the corridor on the bottom floor walking against the wall and then disappeared, I wish someone else had seen it because to me it was as clear as day!
In the Chapel there were what seemed like shadows moving but I didn’t feel uneasy in this here.
The only time I felt scared was when we were driving away from the building, and I had a sudden urge to get away as quickly as possible, I did not want to be the last ones out, I had a strong feeling of being watched but in a bad way like we were being seen off!

On the second floor borders rooms and corridor I didn’t personally experience any un ease in this area, but when seated in the corridor I did feel unexplained vibrations coming from the floor.
Drama room this room was freezing cold. I felt we were being watched.
The room before entering the gym from the corridor I didn’t like this area all. I felt really uncomfortable.
In the gym I felt there was something with us all the time in the far left corner by a stack of chairs
Boardroom corridor and stairs I didn’t like the stairs and found myself being very careful walking down them, the boardroom I again felt that there was something watching us. The chapel I again had the feeling that we were being watched .The corridor outside the hub had a strange mist I thought when looking towards the chapel. The car park well I hated this area when I first arrived, I found this building to be mysterious I parked my car then moved it because I felt so uneasy, and at the end of the evening could not wait to leave it.
