MPI were invited back to this lovely old building before it is finally demolished. We had so much activity there the first time and were all excited as to what we would encounter on the return. The night was cold and clear with a bright moon shining across the roof tops. The building looked very sad and eerie waiting for its death, what would we have in store for us!!
Only time would tell.

Upstairs Left Corridor and all rooms leading off
Downstairs Left Corridor and all rooms leading off
Upstairs Right Corridor and all rooms leading off
Downstairs Right Corridor and all rooms leading off
At 9.15 pm Baseline tests were carried out throughout all rooms and walk around with lights on.
There were no EMF meter readings and the temperature varied between 10 and 13 degrees throughout the building. Trigger objects were placed in different locations with a locked off camera at the top of the staircase.
Ken and Steen put infra red camera’s linked to monitors and DVD recorders in the most active rooms. Digital voice recorders were also left running for the night in various rooms.

Video Footage
Watch the chest of drawers in the center of the room. There is a quiet bang and the top drawer opens by itself. We have returned to test the drawer and found that it is impossible for this to happen without physically being pulled.
Team Reports
Team 1
Vigil 1 Upstairs Left Corridor
Several attempts were made to communicate with spirit on this level Tracey whistled and asks for spirit to copy her, Val threw a small object and asked for it to be returned, Emma calls for spirit to come forward but all was fruitless. All team hear a slight sound toward the back of the room. Ouija séance was held with the glass moving around the board not making any sense, and then someone came through and wanted to talk to Val. It was quite emotional and all the conversation was really personal to Val. Val gave personal information to Simon so that she was not involved with the board and glass and the reply from spirit was amazing and true.
Vigil 2 Downstairs left Corridor
Val feels very uneasy in this area, Emma and Mark take turns on calling for spirit to come and join us but there was no response. Val threw a paintbrush and asked for its return but nothing happened. Val has the name of Mr Morley come to mind. Several small noises were heard but this could be that it is an old building moaning. There were some strange sounds but this we put down to the water pipes that were around as the heating was put on only a few hours earlier. No other occurrences or communication was witnessed here.
Vigil 3 Upstairs Right Corridor
In one room along this corridor Emma heard furniture being moved, all team hear knocking. Val banged on a desk and asked spirit to copy and all hear a bang in the corner of the room. Val knocks three times and three knocks were heard back, again Val did the same and three knocks heard again. All hear voices coming from the other side of the wall but on investigation found there was not a room adjoining this one just a corridor that had wire mesh across so that entry was impossible. Val and Mary-Lou hear laughter. We tried a Ouija séance and had response to out questions, we found the spirit was a lady aged 48, she was connected to the building Val knocks again and spirit copies her. All of a sudden a piece of what sounded like a metal pipe was thrown to the floor, no matter how much we all looked for the object even with the lights on nothing at all was found. This and other sounds were picked up on the voice recorder.
Vigil 4 Downstairs Right Corridor
In one room Val banged on the wall and asked spirit to copy her all team hear a bang in return.
Along the corridor Mark heard footsteps but there was no one there. We entered a room and immediately Mark hears footsteps in the corridor again upon looking found nothing was there. Emma is feeling uneasy in here. While trying to communicate through séance all team hear loud bangs that were totally unexplainable. All feel apprehensive, Val asks spirit to come forward and show us all what they can do, then all of a sudden Mary-Lou collapsed to the floor although seconds earlier had felt fine. She was completely out of it, so we picked her up and immediately left the area. Once back in the hub Mary-Lou seemed to come round but could not explain how or what had happened to her within a few minutes I am glad to say she fully recovered.
Team 2
Vigil 1 Downstairs left Corridor
We tried several séances on this vigil but with no positive information coming through. Jim choked and said he could smell something. Vicki felt as though someone was holding her hand and Kim felt sick Pat was calling for spirit to come forward and communicate then heard Jim A whispering to who we don’t know. Jim throws an object but there was no response. Jim A has chest pain. No further occurrences on this vigil
Vigil 2 Upstairs Right Corridor
Jim A, Pat and Mandy feel sick and then saw someone walk pass the end of the corridor but there was no one in the vicinity only the team who were together. Steen calls to spirit with no response Jim A can see a small light. Jim A calls out for spirit and creaking sounds are heard, everyone feels sick and cold. Steen throws a magnet but it is not returned, Jim P hears a cat. Jim P feels hot while everyone feels cold. Pat and Steen take turns on calling out but with no response. In another room Jim A feels light headed, Kim is swaying, Pat’s left arm is feeling freezing cold Kim is then feeling hot. Jim P can smell cigars. Mandy feels that someone is playing with her hair Steen again calls to spirit with no response then Mandy calls but nothing occurs. Jim A is frozen to the spot, Steen whistles nothing is heard back. In the corridor Jim A calls to spirit and all hear like a cackle laugh and then all hear a whimper. Jim A and Steen see a shadow at the end of the corridor; all feel as though they are being watched.
Vigil 3 Downstairs Right Corridor.
Despite the team trying to communicate with spirit in every way possible all was very quiet, no occurrences at all happened on this vigil.
Vigil 4 Upstairs Left Corridor
In one room on this level Kim thought she heard a cat meowing, everyone feels ok, team try to communicate with spirit but again all was very still with nothing positive happening. Steen has the name of Frederick come to mind. All was very quiet and the vigil came to an end.

At the beginning of the evening whilst in the hub I could hear several bangs that were unexplainable. On one vigil I had some personal information come through to me on the Ouija board. I had given Simon (who was taking vigil notes and not taking part in the séance) some information for the team to ask spirit, I was amazed that the answers that came back to me were accurate. I felt very emotional and privileged to have spoken to a loved one. On another vigil I heard a metal object hit the floor and searched for it but it was not found. All through the night I heard unexplained bangs, laughter and voices. I actually feel sad that this building is to be demolished and only hope that one day when the new one is built that I can return to find out that whoever or whatever is there has not gone.

Throughout all the vigils during the night, I felt fine and at ease. Val had some interesting information that related to her when we were in one room. In another room whilst an Ouija board séance was being done we all heard what sounded like something metal dropping on the floor. We checked every inch of the room but nothing was to be found. We tried making the same noise using anything metal in the room but could not achieve the same thing. When we turned on the lights, nothing in the room matched up to the sound either. During the calling out in the last room, we heard a few bangs and towards the end a team member went giddy and fell. An interesting night overall.

We had all been looking forward to coming back to here and as we arrived I heard along with other team members loud bangs. So it looked like we could be in for a good night.
As we started our first vigil, we again heard a number of bangs, and taps. As the evening went on most of the team agreed that most of these were down to the heating, with the air, and water in the pipes. We came to this conclusion by holding the pipes; and once the heating went off most of the noise stopped, we also found that the noise travelled some distance though these pipes and Steen recreated the sound when he banged against them. I have witnessed unexplained events here before, but tonight as much I was wanted to believe something paranormal was going on, I have to say that I saw no proof of anything other than noise travelling though an empty building.
The only unexplained event that happened in the team I was in was at the very start of the night. We returned to one of the classrooms were I had picked on a teacher, who was continuously writing on the chalk board, we later found this to be a French teacher by using the Ouija board. We had a lot of movement, we started spelling out names, but then I realised that someone was mucking us around, so although we had some unexplained movement we had no evidence, but then we all heard two knocks on the chalk board behind us, this could not have come from anywhere else, and no one else could have got to the other side of the wall due to it being fenced off. This did not reoccur when we asked it to, so this remains unexplained.
Apart from that the rest of the evening was non eventful, other than I picked up on a man in a tweed suit in one of the other classrooms.

Well, what can I say - a memorable experience for me on this investigation!
First thoughts when I entered the building were... this could be interesting as I heard quite a few bangs and noises before any vigils had even taken place. (We found some of these noises to be coming from the water pipes)
Some parts of the building I found to be unnaturally quiet, almost too quiet... which gave me an uneasy feel. Other areas were fine, nothing unusual BUT one particular room was quite a bit different!
I was part of a well balanced team which was just as well because we experienced a fair amount of activity, ranging from knocks, bangs, unexplained voices, footsteps, ouija board activity, object thrown at us and for me....passing out whilst taking part in the Ouija board séance in one very active and unexplainable room!
On the whole, an enjoyable and interesting night with a great team.

Not much happened on this investigation. In a lot of the rooms we heard bangs and knocks but put it down to the pipes. In one room there was a blackboard on the wall. We used the Ouija board and came in contact with a school teacher that taught French. We asked him to let us know he was there and then there was two knocks on the blackboard. There was a strong smell of cigar smoke.

Well I shan't forget this night in a hurry, this was my first night as a team leader, and that was enough to be coping with, but as usual we were not let down by being greeted by bangs and creeks before we started off, the Ouija board was good when we first tried that as I believe we were being played games with, by spirit, it told us one thing , then changed its mind to something else, so for quite a while I think it was just having fun with us, as we settled into another room again to try out the Ouija a very definite load bang came from behind us on a blackboard, that definitely could not be explained, and the rest of the first vigil was quiet good, as time went on throughout the other vigils it seemed to quieten down some, although at one point myself and Mandy suddenly heard a door bang behind us and neither of us could get up the stairs quick enough, only to be told it was a slow closing door, oh well you can’t win them all. As usual personally had a good night special thanks goes to Steen, for guiding me in the right direction, I would love to come back and do it all over again.

This was my second visit to this place. It looks completely different to when last visited, the place is now derelict making it spookier than ever. As soon as we arrived activity was evident, we heard knocks and bangs quite close by. After our walk around we split into teams and began upstairs. Apart from a few knocks we never really experienced anything. But whenever we used the Ouija board we seem to get results. Someone connected to Val came through quite clearly which was fantastic, probably one of the highlights of the night. Most of the other rooms were fairly quiet although there was a weird incident where we were convinced there were conversations going on in the next room, as if a class was being taken. We thought at first it was the other group but it wasn’t. When we went outside, alas, there was no other room next door, how weird! Again most of the other rooms were fairly quiet. It seemed we saved the best room till last where we heard tremendous bangs from the corner, which to this day I still don’t think we worked out what it was. The Ouija board was very successfully and repeatedly the glass kept going to Emma. The energy was quite strong here; the movement of the glass was quite forceful. During this period the energy was stronger which forced Mary-Lou to have a funny turn. At this point we decided to end the vigil. All in all an interesting place. Would love to go back and get to the bottom of all the bangs etc.
