Introduction

MPI were invited to investigate the home of Mr and Mrs X who had been experiencing unusual paranormal activity throughout their flat. Mr. and Mrs X were quite concerned that it may be affecting their son aged 8 years, as the paranormal activity seemed to centre around him. Also strange occurrences during the day when Mrs X was alone at home, something you cannot talk to neighbours about!
Mr and Mrs X were not afraid of the situation but wanted to know what was going on and decided to get to the bottom of it.

At 9:30 pm we were warmly greeted by Mr. and Mrs X and their two friends.

Mrs X confided in Val and told her of the paranormal activity that was taking place but not to any other member of MPI.

At 10:00pm Mark our medium spent time at home in each of the rooms before the investigation.

Val and Pat carried out base line tests, using an EMF meter (electronic magnetic field) digital thermometer.

Readings

The EMF reading was taken several times in the central area of the bathroom, no electrical were cables were around the meter but it spiked to 2.0 in one spot only.

The Investigation

Mark’s Summery
Mark called Val to another room away from our hosts and members of MPI and gave Val the information he was picking up in this flat:-

There was a gent in his late 60’s height around 5’5” similar looks to Alf Garnet the actor; he wore round glasses and had a bushy moustache and wore a flat cap. It was the late 1800’s early Victorian time; this male was angry and made himself know by moving objects, he has also shown himself as a shadow.
The strongest part of the flat that he visits is the child’s and adults bedrooms. Mark then has the shivers. The male is not angry at our hosts, Mark feels that the flat was built on perhaps factories and that this male was tragically killed. He was a manual worker, and that the far end of the flat was the prominent area. Mark continued to tell Val that this male wants his family and children here and keeps asking why he cannot have them here. Mark then said there was two enterties here the other being a young boy, perhaps a twin to the child that lives here at the present time, who plays with the toys in the child’s bedroom. Also a strong smell of urine in the child’s bedroom.

First Room to be investigated Childs Room
Val calls to spirit very quietly but nothing is heard, Pat felt her hair being pulled gently, then feels the front of her right leg go cold followed by the feeling of pressure on the front of both her legs at the top. All feel ok in this room; Ken has the smell of burning plastic. Jacqi has pressure on the back of her neck and again Pat feels the pressure on the front of her legs. Jacqi and Pat change places in the bedroom and Jacqi feels very cold where Pat had been standing. Becki who sat on the bed found herself being poked and all hear a sound behind Jacqi. Val was standing by the computer table writing notes when she felt something stand on her foot. Ken sat on the bed and felt as though he was pinched and thought he heard someone “say that’s my bed get off” on inspection Ken had two very distinct red marks on his lower back where he was pinched. No other occurrences in this room.

Second Room investigated
Mrs X friend accompanied us in this room, Jacqi felt very hot in this room but all members feel calm. The pressure feeling on Jacqi’s neck returned. Val tried to contact spirit to join with us and straight away Ken can smell babies sick followed by all of us smelling it. Mrs X friend is suddenly overcome by pins and needles in her head and is escorted from the room and Val has a sudden headache. Jacqi then feels unwell and has to leave the room, Mark is called in and explains a spirit child is with us who is upset and wants us to leave, the spirit child is scared and Mark told us the child is worried and feels that “mum” rejects him when he is playing with the toys. Mark then says there are two beds in the child’s room not one. Nothing else occurred in this bedroom.

Third Room to be investigated
Mr and Mrx X and their two friends sat in with us on this vigil. Ken again can smell babies sick. Ken was sitting on the floor when he came across a middle aged male wearing a type of nightshirt he was informing Ken “not to wake him up he has an early start at the market”. Jacqi is given the name of Thomas Purbrick. Everyone is feeling alright in this room. Ken has another man come through to him who was in the home guard, Ken senses that there were Nissan huts on this ground and that this man was nicking cigarettes and bottles of spirits to sell at the market, a grey haired man with a moustache.
Val, in her mind’s eye can see sheep, goats, straw and rush fences, children dressed in leather material with shoes laced in straps, there are fields and she is given the name of Brevia a.d.
Pat then saw a large dark shadow go across the room.
No other occurrences in here.
Investigation closed.

Information given to group by Mrs X
Mrs X then told us all that there were two beds in the child’s room bunk beds and that her son was one of a twin. The toys in the toy box were quite often across her son’s bedroom although she knew they had all been in the toy box. Whist hovering her son’s bedroom the X box had switched itself on and Mrs X switched it off only to find it came on again and again she switched it off and this happened quite a few times until she had pulled the mains plug out of the wall. Mrs X told us that now she knows this little boy is around her she will acknowledge him, she has no fear of the man that is in her flat as he has never shown her any threat but would contact us if he did.

Mr and Mrs X and their two friends were extremely delighted at what we had found in their home and were very comforted in the knowledge that their son’s twin brother was with them.
